Remove the Old Stopper
BIGVEE™ mounts where your current bow stop sits. Remove the existing stop before you begin.
Fit BIGVEE™ in Place
Mount it using the supplied hardened M12 (½") bolt and shims for a secure, precise fit.
Adjust & Align
Rotate BIGVEE™ to match your bow angle, then pick one of the smaller holes for the secondary locking bolt.
Tighten Bolt
Move the boat to its fully forward position. Rotate the BIGVEE needled, then tighten the central securing bot.
Add Secondary Lock
Drill an 8mm (5/16th) hole in the upright metal bow stop support arm & fit the small secondary locking bolt.
Trim & Protect
Shorten excess bolt length. Smooth sharp edges and coat exposed metal with corrosion-resistant paint.

What is BIGVEE™?
BIGVEE™ is a drive-on bow stop with a wide V-shaped catch that guides your boat back to center as it reaches the trailer.
How does it make loading easier?
The wide V gives your bow a bigger target. Instead of lining up perfectly by eye, you drive on and let the V steer the bow to center — even if your approach is a little off.
Will BIGVEE™ fit my trailer?
Almost certainly. The 3" (75mm) mounting face fits most standard bow-stop brackets, and the included shims extend the fitment to 4.7" (120mm). If you can mount a standard stop, you can mount a BIGVEE™.
Can I install BIGVEE™ myself?
Yes. It's a straightforward swap with basic hand tools — most owners have it fitted in well under an hour. The hardened M12 bolt and adapter rings are included.
Can it help protect my boat?
By guiding the bow to center before it makes contact, BIGVEE™ reduces the off-angle bumps and scrapes that come from missing a narrow stop. A cleaner catch means a gentler landing.
Does it work in wind and current?
That's exactly what it's built for. When wind or current pushes your bow off line, the wide V-catch collects it and redirects it to center — so you load clean even when conditions aren't cooperating.
